Today we began workshops on the profile assignment. Complete the steps on page 243 of CTW. Your draft must be revised and posted to Turnitin.com by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, March 4th.

Today we looked at CTW pages 240-242 to review the different strategies that the authors of the model profiles used. We also looked at the bottom of 243-244 for introduction strategies.

Today we discussed the profile assignment; students had some time to work.

HMWK: On Tuesday we will discuss The Call to Write (214-249). By Wednesday, you should have arranged for meeting with a representative of your profile paper's agency/club/organization.

Today we met in the Adobe lab, and I assigned the profile paper. We will be adapting it to make it work for our community.

Yesterday we had a snow day.

Today students (1) turned in reflection letters for the seeing paper, (2) began responding to peer's papers on Blackboard, and (3) worked on the Little, Brown book's sentence structure readings and exercises.
