1 - We did vocabulary and discussed the Holocaust article. Students then read their books silently.

Section 1 reading and notes are due tomorrow during class.

5 and 7 - Students wrote individual goals for the day, read and wrote notes silently, then finished filling out their exit tickets.

Section 2 reading and notes are due tomorrow during class.

2 - We reviewed evidence warrant sheets and students worked independently on them.

Homework: complete evidence warrant sheets.

4 - We reviewed thesis statements, created our own thesis statements, and reviewed evidence warrant sheets.

Homework: complete proof from The Outsiders sheet.

We read an article regarding a holocaust survivor at Owens, then we did vocabulary.  Students also conferenced with the teacher on their section 1 book notes.
