Developed in 2009, the Honorary Alumnus/Alumna Award recognizes an individual who did not graduate from Bowling Green High School, yet has provided exemplary service and support to the Bowling Green Area School district, its community of alumni, students, faculty and staff through significant and selfless contributions. Awards Reception

The Bowling Green Schools Foundation Awards Reception is held annually in May at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. At this time, the recipients of our Scholarships, Grants, Distinguished Alumni Award, Distinguished Educator Award and Honorary Alumnus/Alumna Award are honored by the BGSF Board of Directors, school district, family and friends. The reception is free and open to the public. This year the reception was on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 4 to 6PM.
